A top tip is to use smaller double walled boxes for heavier items such as ornaments, and larger boxes for cushions and linens.

Larger boxes with heavy items have a lot more chance of breaking during removal.

Fill any gaps in your packing boxes with clothing, towels, or even newspaper. This will avoid breakages of any items inside.

Make sure to tape the boxes well, covering any bottom and top seams, making sure to wrap the tape around the boxes a few times, use ‘Fragile’ tape on any boxes that hold breakables, so you know to pack these boxes on top.
